FA Colin Martin 1st AG!
Featured Athlete Colin Martin finished 20th overall and member Gilles Bensabeur (and a jharriscoaching athlete) placed 29th. Here is what Colin had to say about the event:
"Overall a great race. Very well put together and a great experience. I did it 2 years ago an finished 23rd with a time of 3:36. This year I finished 20th overall and won age group with a time of 3:19. Goes to show that the race is growing an the competition is getting better. Winner broke 3 hours. "
"Quick Highlights include a mucky swim...pretty flat an fast bike course and a out an back run. Seemed like you were running the out part for about 10 miles before you got to turn around."
Gilles Bensabeur 3rd AG!
REV3 Knoxville:
Raphael Bingert 2nd AG!
"Rev3 Oly in Knoxville yesterday was nice. Beautiful day, good organization. Had fun.
Swam sub 23', biked sub 1'05 and struggled on the run (42 !). I know those run-bike-run are crucial for me but only did 2 this year and paid it but season is only starting !"
Finished 2nd in the 40-44 AG and 27nd overall. They changed the transition and put it in a parking garage. T1+T2 took ~ 6mns. Long run from the river to the transition!"
