Sunday June 26th is the Bike New York - Discover the Hudson Valley Ride
It is already sold out, with 2500 participants expected!!!
While the ride itself has some staff, Bikeway has the honor of being the only bike shop chosen to support this event, and we need to staff 6 locations with support people, to pump up tires, point people in the right direction, etc.
The most help is needed a the two starting points: Poughkeepsie train station and Dutchess Community College.
I understand that quite a few of us will be racing that day, including at the Northern Dutchess tri (which we will also be supporting), but with 99 members (yay!!) we should have more than enough people out there in Bikeway kits supporting this great ride.
So please let us know ASAP if you can assist. Each station has staggered time frames for support. More details will be posted shortly.
EVEN IF YOU HAVE ALREADY SIGNED UP FOR YOUR REQUIRED NUMBER OF VOLUNTEER DATES, PLEASE CONSIDER HELPING OUT AT THIS EVENT AS WELL. IT IS GREAT PUBLICITY FOR BIKEWAY, THE HUDSON VALLEY'S PREMIER BIKE SHOP WHICH LENDS YOU ITS SUPPORT!!
