And now for a little road racin'.....
This weekend Team Bikeway.com members Declan Nicholls and Donald Higgins will be heading down to Brooklyn on Saturday morning for the Tour of New York in Prospect Park. Donald will be racing with the Cat 4's and Declan wil be with the Cat 5's. Good luck guys!! Tear it up!
I'll be attempting to defend my title at NYS Champs tomorrow up at Whiteface Mountain. The road race is a new course for me, with one big climb in the 14 mile loop we'll do four times and a big finish climb at 8% grade for 1.6 miles. It's a small field and they're calling for rain, so we'll see how it goes.
Saturday morning the usual group ride will leave from the Wappingers shop at 8:00.
And don't forget on Sunday leaving from the Wappingers Shop at 9:00 is our Pawling course pre-ride. Again, we're heading out toward the old Union Vale course and going up Bruzgul Road and blueberry hill on Wingdale Mountain Road first, and then onto the new Pawling course which will climb the back of blueberry hill, so bring your climbing legs and plenty of supplies.
