From the man himself...
Raced Sunday at March Madness Central Park Biathlon. Event started on time, 730 sharp with a sold out field of 600 plus competitors. The race consisted of a 2.1 mile out and back run, 12 mile 2 loop bike course that winded around the park with a really fast S turns section that rewarded the brave, 2nd bike loop rewarded the daring to see who would be the most aggressive with the pedestrian and lapped racers filling the roadway, and then another 2.1 mile run to a nice down hill finish. Fun race to start out the season, highly recommended.
I was second in age group 25 - 29 and 10th overall. The best part of this event is after the race you are in NYC and Central park. The rest of my morning consisted of playing with dogs in the park and taking a 3 block walk to Neil's Cafe for a great second breakfast and coffee before I took the trek back home.
Next race Doylestown Duathlon in Doylestown, PA on April 10th
