Opening Day

This past weekend was Opening day for Team Bikeway.com. At the Bethel Spring Series Race # 1 we had Carlos, Adam and Justin in the CAT 4 race and Rivers in both the CAT 3/4 race and CAT 1/2/3 race (talk about getting the racing miles in the legs!). In the CAT 4 race they had a small game plan and attempted to execute it against a strong Pawling and Bethel team. Carlos kept an eye on things and tried slowing the pack down while Justin was in the breaks (Won the 1st prem!). Adam waited for the sprint and scored a top 20. Not a bad start for the gang. Also, the triathlon season started for Team Bikeway.com supported athlete Lukas Siska. Lukas was invited to race against some of the top ITU (see: video above) talent in the country. The race was held in Clermont, Fl where Lukas placed 17th out of 35 athletes. The race was held to locate potential Olympic-level talent for the future. Congrats to him for hanging in with the big dogs of the sport on his new Caonndale Six 3 with our Zipp 404 Demo Wheels!
